The Problem: For eight years our
client and his accountant unsuccessfully had tried to resolve an ongoing dispute with the
IRS and the Department of Justice. After the seizure of his home by the
IRS, the client retained Sullivan Consulting just 48 hours
before the U.S. Marshals Service was scheduled to sell his home at auction.
The Sullivan Solution:
In less than 24 hours Sullivan Consulting was able to negotiate a settlement of the tax
judgment, cancellation of the auction, and the return of our clients home. In
addition, Sullivan Consulting expedited an Offer in Compromise with IRS to finalize
closure of the case, saving the taxpayer $200,000.

The Problem: Sullivan Consulting was retained after the IRS levied our client’s bank
account.
The
Sullivan Solution: Sullivan Consulting obtained an immediate levy release after filing a Collection Appeal request with the Revenue Officer. In addition, while reviewing the case history, it was learned that our client took over his former employer’s franchise business to save 15 fellow employees’ jobs. Sullivan Consulting filed an appeal requesting
abatement of penalties due to reasonable cause. The Revenue Officer conceded the penalties, saving the taxpayer $32,000.
